The Real‘s Loni Love has officially challenged Tamera Mowry-Housley’s husband, Adam Housley, to a greens cook-off!
Adam might know how to make a mean pot of greens, but according to Loni, she could do better. “I’m sorry, my greens are still better than Adam’s, so we going to have a green cook-off,” she told HipHollywood while at the EBONY Power 100 Gala. “This season, I be cooking some greens. His might be tasty but mines are good.”
Love also suggested that greens knowledge should be on the list of must-haves for women looking for a man. “Definitely. It’s not that hard to cook greens, but it’s what you put in it that matters,” she told us. “So whatever you put in it I know you going to put in the relationship too.”
It was just a few weeks ago that Tamera had to clap back at fans who criticized her white husband for making collard greens for Thanksgiving, “Damn, Gina, why you gotta bring race into this?!” Mowry said about one commenter who suggested the host “must eat like white person.”
According to Mowry, her husband is from the south and loves greens. The mother of two also explained on The Real that Adam’s grandmother passed away before she could pass down the family recipe to him, so instead, Tamera’s mother passed down her recipe to the Fox News reporter.
