Rumor has it that Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar will be headlining the 2017 Coachella Music Festival.
According to Hits Daily Double, Goldenvoice honcho Paul Tollett — founder and producer of Coachella – has nabbed King Bey, Kendrick and Radiohead to hit the main stage for the back-to-back weekend event.
This would obviously be the dream of dreams if this rumor was true, as all three artists have lengthy catalogs of incredible music, huge hits, and an obvious presence on stage. So we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed.
Of course, this would also open up the possibility for Bey and K Dot to join each other on stage. We still have chills from that time the pair performed “Freedom” at the BET Awards.
Beyonce has also never performed a solo set at the festival (despite attending several times), which also leads us to believe this could be her year. Meanwhile, Kendrick has hit the stage before in 2012, and was a surprise guest last year for Anderson .Paak and Ice Cube.
Coachella 2017 is scheduled to go down April 14-16 and April 21-23.
