Some of the countries biggest musicians collided for the 2016 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater at L.A. LIVE, and there were definitely some major moments. Here’s our top 5!
GIGI HADID & JAY PHAROAH actually turned out to be a funny pair hosting this years telecast. Jay of course unleashed a slew of his trademark impersonations … and Hadid got in on the action giving us her best Melania Trump and it was pretty  hilarious.
gallery-1479695792-gettyimages-624754958Next there was the shade throwing from ZAYN MALIK. After winning the award for Best New Artist of the Year — his first award as a solo artist — Malik decided to be petty and shade his former One Direction bandmates.  “Wow. This just has my name on it, right?”, he said.  The joke however didn’t go over so well.
And speaking of bad lines TEYANA TAYLOR couldn’t quite get hers together while reading the teleprompter to announce New Artist Of The Year. The singer at one point just gave up completely before joking that she wears glasses. Yikes!
SELENA GOMEZ however was quite eloquent at the podium delivering a heartfelt speech after winning Favorite Female Artist. The singer if you recall recently announced that she was taking a break from the spotlight and took the opportunity to explain why. Aww this is why the fans love you Selena.
And apparently the fans also love them some DRAKE. After tying Micheal Jackson with 13 nominations, the Canadian rapper walked away with 4 trophies, but not before delivering one interesting acceptance speech where he administered this warning — “‘Watch How You Speak on My Name!”
Ummm ok Birdman … we mean Drake.  He did eventually have everyone laughing with his hilarious APPLE commercial.  The video is a followup to Taylor Swift’s Apple commercial from earlier this year … and she also thought the moment was MAJAH tweeting about the video during show.

Watch: Julia Roberts And Owen Wilson Give Advice To Their 10-Year-Old Selves

To say Wonder is a must see movie is an understatement! Not only will the film touch you and inspire you to be a better person, it will also entertain you from start to finish.

But don’t take our word for it. HipHollywood sat down with the film’s stars Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson who shared their excitement to bring this heartwarming story to life and how they channeled their real-life parenting skills into the role.

“I think we felt a responsibility to be authentically parents and authentically parents to these two kids, said the 50 year old mother of three. “And I think that’s why you really believe these four people are family and are really having this experience together.”

In the film based on the NY times best seller, Roberts and Wilson play the parents of a teenage daughter (Izabela Vidovic) and 10-year-old boy (Jacob Tremblay) with facial differences entering mainstream elementary school for the first time.

When asked if they had any advice for their ten year old selves, Roberts said: “I have a ten year old son and I tell him to run.”

Meanwhile Wilson says he remembers 5th grade vividly, and enjoyed having his brother Andrew Wilson at the same school to protect him. “It helped so much having an older brother who was already at the school, so that would be the advice I’d give, have a cool older brother.”

Wonder hits theaters November 17, just one day before Wilson’s 49th birthday.
