It’s been one week since Kanye West was admitted into the UCLA Medical Center and according to reports, the rapper is now staying at his own will.

Ye was rushed to the hospital last week after acting erratically at his personal trainer’s home in Los Angeles. The father of two reportedly underwent a psychiatric evaluation and was treated for exhaustion; however, he now won’t leave the facility.

Sources revealed to E! News that Kanye wants to stay at the hospital until he knows he’s well enough to leave. “Kanye is the kind of person if he gets released and isn’t mentally ready he will go back to his old ways and push himself over the limit again,” the source said.

“He needs to keep up with counseling even though he has an intense work schedule. He is just really drained and still weak. He isn’t himself,” the insider explained.

As previously reported, Ye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, has been by the rapper’s side since last week and has been incredibly supportive. Apparently, Kardashian is even helping feed the troubled star.

“Kim is being patient and staying by his side,” the source told the news outlet. “They both have been through a lot but are staying strong as a married couple and helping one another get back up.”

The insider added, “They know in the end this will bring them closer. Their love has not been affected during this hard time, but it has been tested to see if they can get through it. They have faith they will.”

Ye’s hospitalization comes after a string of bizarre events, including cutting a concert short in Sacramento after performing two songs and ranting about Jay Z and Beyonce. Just days after the Sacramento upset, the 39-year-old completely cancelled his Saint Pablo Tour.

As for Kim and Kanye’s two kids, North, 3, and Saint, 11 months, they apparently are under the impression their daddy is off performing — per the usual.

Girl Power Prevails At The 2017 American Music Awards

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
