Kanye West is a rapper who oftentimes stands out among the rest of his fellow rap buddies in the biz — not just because he’s a brilliant rapper, but because of the absurd comments that fly out of his mouth.

From calling himself a God, to telling folks that they simply don’t have the answers, Yeezy doesn’t mind being the anomaly, which is why when West admitted on Thursday night that he was team Trump, we weren’t too surprised.

During the rapper’s show in San Jose, the father of two admitted to his fans that although he opted out of voting this year, he did support the official president-elect. “If I would’ve voted, I would’ve voted on Trump,” he told the crowd.

The 39-year-old continued, “Everybody told me not to say that I loved the debates, I loved his approach. I think that Hillary Clinton should still be a consultant. I think that Bill Clinton should still be a consultant. Obama should still be a consultant.”

He added, “To Black people, stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, let’s stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It’s just a f*cking fact. We are in a racist country.”

The audience booed the entire time Yeezy was on his political soap box, making it very clear that Yeezy fans weren’t exactly following Trump on his campaign trail.

It’s unclear what prompted West to open up about his political viewpoints now, but we wonder if fans will still support the rapper. Meanwhile, we can now add Kanye to the growing list of Black celebrity Trump supporters, which includes Omarosa, Stacey Dash, Dennis Rodman and Mike Tyson.

It’s also worth noting that Trump and Ye have always had a seemingly supportive relationship. When Kanye announced during the 2015 MTV VMAs that he would be running for president in 2002, Donald gave his full support.

“Kanye West, I love him,” the the Republican candidate said during a press conference. “Maybe in a few years, I’ll have to run against him. I don’t know. I’ll take that back. He’s been so nice to me. You people have sort of seen—because I’ve been a counter puncher.”

He added, “I only hit people when they hit me. And Kanye West is so great. I would never say bad things about him because he says such nice things about me.”

CodeBlack Could Redeem Itself With New Omar Epps, Paula Patton Flick

No shade to CodeBlack Films, but it’s last flick, All Eyes On Me, was kind of a disaster. From the poor ratings and reviews, to stars like Jada Pinkett Smith and 50 Cent slamming the film, folks just weren’t feeling it.

But that may all change with their new movie Traffik. The action-packed thriller slated for theaters April 27, 2018 stars Omar Epps, Paula Patton and Laz Alonso, and it looks pretty darn good.

Peep the trailer below.

In the film, Brea (Paula Patton) and John (Omar Epps) are off for a romantic weekend in the mountains. Isolated at a remote estate, the couple are surprised by the arrival of two friends, another couple, Darren (Laz Alonso) and Malia (Roselyn Sanchez). Just when the weekend starts to get back on track, a violent biker gang turns up and begins to torment them. The foursome are forced to fight for their lives against a gang who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.

The film is written and directed by Deon Taylor. Patton is also a producer.
