For some celebrities, staying fit requires hitting the gym seven days a week while going on constant juice cleanses and diets. For others, keeping a slim physique is as simple as gorging on bags of Doritos while MAYBE going for a quick hike one day a week. But for Carey, it all comes down to two food items.
The multi-Grammy Award-winning singer recently revealed to E! News that her diet consists of fish and capers. “It’s really hard. My diet, you would hate it,” Carey told the news outlet. “All you eat is Norwegian salmon and capers every day. That’s it.”
She added, “I’m actually serious. I try to stick with the proteins. It’s the worst. But it works!”
Clearly it works — we mean, have you seen the mother of two’s bod?!
Carey, who recently split from her fiancé, billionaire James Packer, is gearing up fro the big release of her E! docu-series, Mariah’s World. The show, set to premiere on December 4, will follow Carey and her journey down the aisle — which we now know won’t be the case.
When asked if it’s weird watching herself try on wedding gowns, she told E!, “No it’s just, you know, all things in life it’s just like you gotta see what’s meant to be and if it’s meant to be it’s meant to be and if it’s not then ultimately you just have to accept that and move on.”
The eight-episode series will also chronicle the star getting ready for her then anticipated Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour. “I’m excited to bring my fans into my life for the next journey I’m about to embark on,” the diva said back in March following the announcement of the show. “I’m already having so much fun with this documentary and I know you will too. There is nothing like capturing these moments.”
