Chris Brown isn’t so bad.

The Grammy Award-winning singer has faced a countless number of scandals, public feuds, legal issues and wrongdoings since the start of his singing career more than ten years ago.

Unfortunately, many of Brown’s dissensions have followed him and his longstanding career, most notably, the continuous theatrics following the 2009 assault on his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.

Breezy, however, isn’t just a spoiled, rich pop star who thinks he is indispensable to the world. Oftentimes, Brown does actually get it right. Here are three things the Virginia native should be praised for.

Being A Good Father: In March 2015, news broke that Brown fathered a child with model and Texas native, Nia Guzman. When the world found out about Breezy’s daughter, the bundle of joy was already 9 months old. But instead of being a deadbeat dad, the singer stepped up and became a super dad to the seed of his loins, Royalty.

Now, almost two years after taking on the responsibilities of parenthood, it’s pretty clear that daddy duties sit well with the singer. The 27-year-old has revealed on several occasions that being a father changed him and that his world is officially complete.

Charitable Work: Brown is no stranger to charity work. Over the past several years, Brown has generated a plethora of events to benefit different charities, including Symphonic Love and Best Buddies, AIDS Project Los Angeles and Stand Up To Cancer.

Last Christmas, Breezy surprised one woman and her three kids with a car and presents — something that Brown was happy to do, and no, not for publicity. “I’ve been very fortunate and blessed with so much in my life and I always thought that it was supposed to be that way,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I was selfish, arrogant, and cold hearted. I’m able to bless and inspire so many others and I realize that now. This woman has dealt with domestic abuse through her life and her 3 wonderful children had to experience that. I see myself when I looked into their eyes,” he explained.

Brown added, “The amount of strength this woman has is remarkable. I hope I could make their Christmas a great one. I hope the kids love all the toys and things I got for them. And for moms. I hope I could put a smile on this family’s face.”

Good Music: One thing we can always count on when it comes to Chris Brown is that he will always put out good music. In August 2015, Brown celebrated 10 years in the music business. This all includes 10 million albums sold worldwide, 60 million singles sold worldwide, 3.5 billion YouTube views, 2.3 billion audio streams worldwide, 1 Grammy Award for Best R&B Album – ‘F.A.M.E’, 14 BET Awards – 31 nominations, No. 1 rhythm radio AirPlay artist 2012 & 2014 and 19 No. 1 hits.

Jill Scott’s Drunken Disaster NOT The Result Of Divorce Drama … So She Says.

Jill Scott is blaming it on the alcohol … not her divorce.

Jilly from Philly had one drink (or several) too many and decided to document her mood for all to see on social media. By the looks of it, she instantly regretted it.

Scott snatched the video down within hours of posting it, but that was still long enough for fans to reach out to the songstress with cries of concern in her comment section. Jill, who recently filed for divorce from her second husband, Mike Dobson, seemed to be crying in the beginning of the video … then laughing hysterically by the end. And, of course, her tribe of supporters took notice.

Unfortunately, Scott wasn’t here for the sympathy. Instead she clapped back at those insinuating she was drowning her divorce tears in a bottle of Henny. In an IG post captioned, “Real Talk. Good Night,” Jill explained that all y’all need to chill and not everything is about her ex.

So, do you believe her? Jill and Mike were married just 15 months before Scott filed for divorce citing “inappropriate marital conduct.” Dobson then went on a media tour shading the Neo-soul singer calling her controlling and evil.

Look, Jill, if you are hitting the bottle to hide your pain we won’t blame you. Even if it is “out of your mind” we’re sure it’s still stressful and that’s ok. On the other hand, if you were justing getting super lit on a Saturday, then more power to you!
