New York Giants superstar Odell Beckham Jr. and his dear friend “Kicking Net” are back on good terms.
A few weeks ago, Beckham made headlines after throwing a temper tantrum and blowing up on none other than the team’s kicking net. Unfortunately, the athlete’s attack on the piece of equipment backfired and he got slapped right back.
During Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers, however, Beckham and the net made amends. Woohoo.
After scoring his first touchdown of the season, the 23-year-old hugged the net and seemingly apologized for how he acted a few weeks back. We tell ya, it was something special to witness.
“We hugged it out. Last time I hit him, he hit me back,” Beckham said following the game. “I told him it was a good hit. I said, ‘From now on we can be friends.’”
The Giants, by the way, lost to the Packers, 23-16.
