Nicki Minaj is just itching to work with Remy Ma, and truth be told, Remy is looking to do something with the “Anaconda” rapper as well. But, when Ms. Minaj proposed a song with Ma AND Foxy Brown, it just wasn’t the right fit.

When Remy returned home from prison in 2014, she talked to lots of folks about doing a collaboration, one of which was Nicki Minaj. Recently Nik revealed that she still had the song she pitched to Remy, telling HOT 97’s Peter Rosenberg, “When I was working on The Pinkprint, I wanted to do a song with Remy and Foxy [Brown], and I still have the song to this day. It was on a Diplo beat, but it was super-hood and hard. It’s only a matter of time before she [Remy] and I do something.”

Nicki may be excited about the song, but we know for sure if Remy is on it, then Foxy won’t be. The “All The Way Up” rapper stopped by the HipHollywood Loft and expressed her feelings about recording with both Brown and the head Barb in charge. “I just didn’t want to do that. I didn’t think that, that was something I wanted to do,” Ma explained. “To me it didn’t make sense at that time to do that triangle. And it wasn’t like in a disrespectful way … I was like, ‘That’s dope that you would want to do that’, but ummmm, maybe we could do something different.”

Well, let’s hope that “something different” happens soon. A Remy/Nicki track could be fire!

Fans have been begging Ice Cube to bring back his uber popular Friday franchise for years. And now that his look-a-like son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., is killing the thespian game, just like his pops, a reboot seems all the more possible, right?

Just last week, comedian DC Young Fly posted a pic on Instagram teasing his fans about the possibility of himself and Jackson, Jr. filling the roles of Smokey (originally played by Chris Tucker) and Craig.

And of course fans went crazy. But when we chatted with O’Shea during the press day for his new action film “Den of Thieves”, he was a bit more reserved about the idea.
