The cat is finally out the bag about Common and Regina Hall’s relationship, and HipHollywood has some exclusive details about the couple’s year-long romance, including when the two first started dating, and why they’ve been so private.

According to a source close to the couple, Common and Hall are head over heels for each other and have been together exclusively since they wrapped filming Barbershop 3: The Next Cut last July.

Said the source, “Common was very captivated by Hall and asked her out, but she was a little apprehensive about dating while they were still filming.” Once shooting wrapped in Atlanta, Hall took Common up on his offer for a date, and they have been going strong ever since.

Common, who has been in previous relationships with celebrities like Serena Williams and Erykah Badu, is said to be crazy about Hall. “This is the happiest he’s been in a long while,” said the source. “She has really inspired him musically, he’s very eager to get back in the studio.”

But while they have tried to keep the romance out of the public eye, they have been spotted at the same events in recent months. In July, the two were spotted together during Essence Festival in New Orleans, where Common was performing, and just last week, the two attended BET’s Musical Celebration at The White House together, where Hall was hosting.

“Their close friends and inner circles all know about the relationship; it was just a matter of time before the cat was out the bag,” said another source.

To say Wonder is a must see movie is an understatement! Not only will the film touch you and inspire you to be a better person, it will also entertain you from start to finish.

But don’t take our word for it. HipHollywood sat down with the film’s stars Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson who shared their excitement to bring this heartwarming story to life and how they channeled their real-life parenting skills into the role.

“I think we felt a responsibility to be authentically parents and authentically parents to these two kids, said the 50 year old mother of three. “And I think that’s why you really believe these four people are family and are really having this experience together.”

In the film based on the NY times best seller, Roberts and Wilson play the parents of a teenage daughter (Izabela Vidovic) and 10-year-old boy (Jacob Tremblay) with facial differences entering mainstream elementary school for the first time.

When asked if they had any advice for their ten year old selves, Roberts said: “I have a ten year old son and I tell him to run.”

Meanwhile Wilson says he remembers 5th grade vividly, and enjoyed having his brother Andrew Wilson at the same school to protect him. “It helped so much having an older brother who was already at the school, so that would be the advice I’d give, have a cool older brother.”

Wonder hits theaters November 17, just one day before Wilson’s 49th birthday.
