While promoting their new film, When the Bough Breaks, Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall got into a playful dispute about Hall allegedly turning down a guest role on Chestnut’s Fox show, Rosewood.

Apparently, Hall did turn down the role, but with good reason. “They did a date inquiry once and I was working. I was like, ‘Tell them I’m working,’ and never again did [Morris] ask,” explained Hall.

But according to Chestnut, he didn’t reach out personally because he was told Hall flat-out declined. “I called the casting director and I said, ‘How did it go with Regina?’ and she said, ‘She said, ‘Hell, naw,'” he joked.

The two told HipHollywood exclusively, however, that they plan to guest star on each other’s shows very soon. Hall is slated to star in the Netflix series Naked with Marlon Wayans.

There’s Friday, Next Friday, Friday After Next … and now maybe Last Friday?

Fans have been begging Ice Cube to bring back his uber popular Friday franchise for years. And now that his look-a-like son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., is killing the thespian game, just like his pops, a reboot seems all the more possible, right?

Just last week, comedian DC Young Fly posted a pic on Instagram teasing his fans about the possibility of himself and Jackson, Jr. filling the roles of Smokey (originally played by Chris Tucker) and Craig.

And of course fans went crazy. But when we chatted with O’Shea during the press day for his new action film “Den of Thieves”, he was a bit more reserved about the idea.
