Betty Shelby, the white police officer who shot and killed unarmed resident Terence Crutcher last week, has officially been charged with manslaughter in the first degree.
If convicted, Shelby could face up to four years to life in prison — something that rapper Boosie Badazz, formerly known as Lil Boosie, has a serious problem with.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the rapper questioned justifying a murder and possibly serving four years for marijuana possession and serving a whopping “ten years.”
“This b&tch killed a unarmed man for nothing n Tulsa / I’m watching the news about the this shit n they say ‘if convicted she can get 4 years smh 4 years for killing somebody for nothin this f*cked up frfr this world f*cked up str8 up,” he wrote.
That’s when Boosie suggested that he got ten years for “marijuana” but if “she’s found guilty she get 4 years.”
Boosie added, ” I’m tired of this pu$$y a$$ sh*t I think it’s safe to say ‘ do not stop for the police it’s a 70% chance they will kill u n it’s a 97% chance they will be found not guilty(FACTS) 4 years smh ‘ without that badge she a bitch n a half.”
On Friday, Shelby shot and killed 40-year-old Crutcher, whose car was blocking the road after it shut down. In police video released earlier this week, Crutcher can be seen holding his hands up before being killed by the officer.
A lawyer for Shelby has said she acted because she feared for her life, believing Crutcher was reaching into his vehicle for a weapon during the encounter.
