What better way than to end an amazing series with an Emmy Award!

Sunday was a major night for comedian’s Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, aka Key & Peele, who took home an Emmy Award for Variety Sketch Series. “This is crazy,” Jordan first said when accepting the award.

He added, “We want to thank everybody for watching the show; everybody for going home and sharing the show with their loved ones.”

The series, which received seven nominations this year alone and 18 since its inception, wrapped up its final season in September 2015. “Keegan and I by no means are through working with each other,” Jordan told HipHollywood during last year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Key and Peele’s comedy show, which lasted for five seasons, beat out Documentary Now!, Drunk History, Inside Amy Schumer, Portlandia and Saturday Night Live.

Fans have been begging Ice Cube to bring back his uber popular Friday franchise for years. And now that his look-a-like son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., is killing the thespian game, just like his pops, a reboot seems all the more possible, right?

Just last week, comedian DC Young Fly posted a pic on Instagram teasing his fans about the possibility of himself and Jackson, Jr. filling the roles of Smokey (originally played by Chris Tucker) and Craig.

And of course fans went crazy. But when we chatted with O’Shea during the press day for his new action film “Den of Thieves”, he was a bit more reserved about the idea.
