Justin Bieber has officially gone off the Instagram grid.

Days after having a public feud with ex, Selena Gomez, and being berated for his relationship with Lionel Richie’s 17-year-old daughter, Sofia Richie, the Biebs has said goodbye to the IG.

We have to note that the singer did warn us. Last week he threatened that he was “gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand.”

He added in an Instagram post, “If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.” So it’s safe to say the constant chatter and criticism became too much for the pop star.

Meanwhile, Selena is doing some damage control and digging herself out of a ditch after publicly making a statement about her ex’s love life. On Tuesday, she wrote on Snapchat, “What I said was selfish and pointless.”

ICYMI, Selena commented on Bieber’s threat to shut down his account over all the hate — but her thoughts turned into a serious feud between she and Justin.

“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only,” she reportedly wrote last week. “Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.”

Bieber clapped back, “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love. I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers.”

Gomez fired back, “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”

Justin finally added, “I cheated…Oh and I forgot about you and Zayn [Malik]?”

It all started with an ill-worded tweet … and ended with an apology and a shocking revelation!

After gymnast Gabby Douglas’ Final Five teammate Aly Raisman posted a message about supporting sexual assault victims, Douglas responded with a message of her own.

Almost immediately, Douglas felt the swift blow-back her insensitive tweet brought about. Even Simon Biles, another Final Five member, had to check Gabby.

Facing harsh criticism and heated social media comments, Douglas apologized. But, in her apology the Olympian revealed that she, too had been a victim of Dr. Larry Nassar, the Team USA doctor that was accused of sexually assaulting Raisman, McKayla Maroney and others. Gabby’s public plea was posted on Instagram with the caption, “please hear my heart.”

The jury’s still out on whether the masses will forgive Gabby, but at least Nassar will get his due punishment. He pleaded guilty to several counts of sexually assault today and faces 25 to 40 years in prison.
