Did Ciara’s record label drop her? That’s what folks are speculating thanks to a tweet sent out by EPIC Records head honcho, LA Reid. You can read that scandalous message below:

Reid made sure to inform his followers that he wasn’t talking about Meghan Trainor when he made the comment. And since Ciara’s name is now noticeably absent from the label’s roster of artists featured on their website, one could infer that he’s talking about Ciara.

Ciara signed with Epic back in 2011. Since then, she’s struggled to remain relevant musically. Her last album, 2014’s Jackie, debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 with 25,000 units moved, the lowest first-week sales of any of her albums. Back in February, it was reported that the singer planned on leaving the label anyway, so we guess CiCi may have received her wish.
