Tia Mowry Hardrict On Struggle Having Baby No. 2: “I Do Suffer From Endometriosis”
Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict love to have another child, but there is one main thing standing in their way.
While at the 2016 BET Awards, Tia opened up to PEOPLE about her struggle to have another child. The actress, who just celebrated her son Cree’s fifth birthday, revealed to the publication, “I do suffer from endometriosis.”
“So there’s a little bit of a challenge there, but I will say this: I am working on my diet,” she said. Mowry added that she follows “a diet I do when I want to just clean myself out and get rid of inflammation in my body.”
According to the beauty, her upcoming cookbook A Whole New You includes recipes that help with the inflammation. “Endometriosis basically grows from inflammation.”
The beauty, however, has no intention on giving up … at least no time soon. “[We’re] trying, but I don’t want to put too much hope into it,” she explained. “I don’t want to be let down.”
She later joked, “We’re going on vacation tonight to Anguilla, so who knows!”
