Shemar Moore announced earlier this year that he was leaving “Criminal Minds” after a long 11 seasons and of course, most of us more so mourned the departure of the actor’s hod body and chiseled face. The good news, we can now move on to a new hottie.

It was announced on Wednesday that Magic Mike star, Adam Rodriguez would be replacing Moore on the hit CBS series. Sounds like the perfect fit.

According to the network, Rodriguez will play special agent on the FBI Fugitive Task Force in the Behavioral Analysis Unit. “We have exciting story lines planned for his character and the entire Behavioral Analysis Unit team as we head into our 12th season,” executive producer and showrunner Erica Messer said in a statement.

Adam wrote on Instagram: “Just wanted to say how happy I am to be joining the cast of this great show! I look forward to working with the family of people involved in making this such a long standing hit and to entertaining all of the wonderful fans that have made it possible!”

Who Wore It Better: Jennifer Lopez Or Ellen DeGeneres

It was the turning point in Jennifer Lopez’s career — when the beauty stepped onto the red carpet during the 42nd Grammy Awards in a stunning green, low plunging Versace gown.

The monumental moment is still one of the most talked about in the entertainment industry. In fact, now, 17 years later, Ellen DeGeneres is making it a heavy topic during her daytime talkshow.

Over the weekend, Ellen surprised Lopez backstage of her show in Vegas wearing a recreation of the exotic dress. ‘I’m here to be your understudy,” she said in a clip that aired during Monday’s episode.

Ellen continued, “‘You’re not wearing this at all tonight? Okay, this is embarrassing. These ripaway clothes, though, it’s sexy.”

Lopez, who looked stunning in a pair of reading glasses and black robe then suggested that it doesn’t make sense to have an understudy this late into her tour.

“This is me seeing my songs,” the singer said. ‘It would be hard for somebody else to come in and make believe that they were Jennifer Lopez. It would be weird.”

Ellen didn’t get a chance to work directly under Lopez, but she did get one heck of a treat during the show.

“Lil’ Ellen can you put this on for me, right quick,” Jenny From the Block said on stage while tossing the talkshow host a bedazzled hat. “It’s Lil’ Ellen, everybody. Yo yo!”
