A lot of Broadway folks received Tony nominations on Tuesday, but Jennifer Hudson was not one of them … and she’s kind of in her feelings about it.

Hudson, who saunters and sways as Shug Avery in The Color Purple, hopped on Twitter to respond to a fan who was disappointed about her Tony snub. Although the Academy Award winner says she’s “not surprised”, she also through a little shade, too.

Well, even if Hudson doesn’t care about her own nomination, or lack there of, she did show love to Cynthia Erivo (Celie), Danielle Brooks (Ms. Sophia) and the entire ‘Color Purple’ cast on their nods.

Very proud and overwhelmed to say congrats to @cynthiaerivo @daniebb3 @color purple entire cast on tony nod ! One hell of a cast that’s for sure ! Proud of u all!

You already know it doesn’t have to be Rihanna’s birthday for her to shake her cakes. She does, after all, have a whole song dedicated to it.
