Prince Aids Report Runs Rampant, Is It True?
Earlier this week, there were a few reports suggesting that Prince Rogers Nelson died from Aids. Many fans were livid with the claims, suggesting that they were bogus and untrue, but now, more media outlets are starting to follow suit.
According to reports, Prince was diagnosed with the disease six months before his tragic passing. Apparently, the musician was preparing for his death with prayer.
According to the National Enquirer, Nelson refused treatment and had the mindset that “God can cure me.” According to a source, doctors revealed to the icon that his “blood count was unusually low and that his body temperature had dropped dangerously below the normal 98.6 degrees to 94 degrees.”
The insider explained to the publication “He was totally iron-deficient, very weak and often disoriented. He rarely ate and when he did, it all came right back up.”
Just six days before the singer’s untimely death, his private jet was forced to make an emergency landing after the artist came down with flu like symptoms. The following week, Prince was spotted in front of a local Walgreens on several occasions to apparently pick up medication.
According to reports, staffers at the pharmacy say the medication Prince had been purchasing were used to treat patients with HIV.
An autopsy report was conducted last Friday, but it could be weeks until the results are revealed. Meanwhile, officials confirmed to HipHollywood on Thursday that the Paisley Park search warrant will be sealed because “due to Prince’s status of having been an iconic popular music superstar, there is and will be continued intense media scrutiny upon the manner and circumstances of Prince’s death.”
Prince was found dead inside his Minnesota estate last week at the age of 57.
