As if Al Sharpton needed anymore reasons to further his own agenda, Vanity Fair has just given the civil rights activist more fuel for his fire.
In an article titled, “Al Sharpton Matters (Whether You Like It or Not!)”, Sharpton is praised for being “arguably the country’s most influential civil-rights leader.” Well, you know he just loved that. So much so, that PageSix claims he bought 100 copies of the magazine to distribute at his three-day National Action Network convention. That takes tooting your own horn to another level!
The conference, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, will feature Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders while they are in town (New York) to debate. Martin Luther King III will also be on hand to help present awards to such honorees as President Obama’s senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, Gloria Steinem, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Anthony Anderson of ABC’s sitcom “Black-ish.”
