Karrueche Tran is apparently being considered to be a judge on the next cycle of America’s Next Top Model. A source tells Page Six that the model and fashion designer might be tapped for the show once it moves over to VH1.

As previously reported, the show’s creator, Tyra Banks, will no longer host the long lasting program, but will still serve as executive producer. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Gigi Hadid or Kendall Jenner might pick up where Banks left off.

“They’re changing the style and tone of the show,” a source told PS.

Tran has not responded to the reports, but we’d say the model would be a great fit. If she joins the show as a judge, Karrueche, who once dated Chris Brown, would succeed an impressive group of judges, including Janice Dickinson, J. Alexander, Kimora Lee Simmons, Nigel Barker and Twiggy.

I know they’re trying to connect with a younger demographic, and I wish them well; but is VH1 even something Millennials watch? I am not trying to be catty, but I do sort wonder if they shouldn’t recast J. Alexander (continuity) and then add some actual seasoned talent as judges.

Is this lady seasoned? Wiki says her time started in 2009, but for the first 3 years of that she was a Personal Shopper. Much of her active work started 3 years ago. Not very deep experience.

I have to assume Tyra isn’t going to let them destroy her show, but maybe she has the ‘I’m a Mom now, so I am letting others deal with this’ attitude. I hope not.

I just some “real” models will be on the panel. Its hard to give advice and critique when you’re not a “real” model and she’s short. This makes no sense
