Sorry fellas! If you were hoping to see Nicki Minaj twerking those thick cakes on the big screen, then you’re going to be sorely disappointed.

Ms. Minaj sat down with Nylon magazine and dished about her relationship with Meek Mill, music and her upcoming movie role in Barbershop: The Next Cut. Apparently, the anaconda rapper said no to twerking in the film.

When asked to do the dance move she’s done so many times before, Nicki decided against popping that backside on the big screen. “Not every sexy woman is out here twerking all damn day,” she told Nylon. The raptress is set to play a girl named Draya in the latest “Barbershop” film and says, “I wanted there to be a little bit of depth to Draya. I didn’t want her just to be, you know, an Instagram thot; I wanted her to have some sort of purpose and meaning.”

Also in the interview, Nic once again denied being engaged to boyfriend Meek Mill. “I’m not engaged yet.… He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his fiancée, and I’m always trying to stop him, like, ‘Nope! I ain’t got that third ring yet!’ We’re just taking it one step at a time. And, you know, if that happens, if I get married, then I’ll have a child, and that’ll be fun, because I can’t wait to hold my baby.”

And now that she’s in such a happy place with her new boo (despite rumors that things were rocky because of his recent house arrest status), Minaj feels like her music should be happy, too. “…where I left off with The Pinkprint was a little bit emotionally unstable…Now, I want my happiness to be reflected in the new stuff,” Minaj revealed.
