Jason Derulo To Host iHeartRadio Music Awards
As Derulo preps for his upcoming r&b mixtape, the singer will also be gearing up for one of the biggest music events of the year. Jason has officially been tapped to host the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
iHeartRadio explained via Twitter with the addition of Derulo, the April 3 show just keeps on “getting better.”
“I have a little bit of nerves,” the 26-year-old told PEOPLE. “It’s something new, it’s something a little different. I’ve co-hosted some award shows overseas before, but never hosted on my own, so that’s brand new.”
Jason has a huge year ahead of him, from hosting iHeart to releasing new music, we are excited for what 2016 will bring the pop star. In fact, during a recent interview with Derulo, the singer revealed he’s “happier than I’ve ever been.”
The Florida native is working on two albums, has a new girlfriend, Daphne Joy and even has a new shoe line in the works. “The shoe line is called Level 13. I just finished the whole deal, it’s taken about a year to get it all in line. Finally, we are starting to move things into production,” he told us.
Congrats to Jason.
