Kanye West revealed via Twitter on Tuesday that things were “all positive” between and he and Wiz Khalifa following last week’s Twitter feud.
According to Ye, the duo spoke over the phone and squashed their beef. Unlike Yeezy, Wiz didn’t tweet about the conversation, he did however open up about the truce with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez.
When asked if he was surprised by West’s initial reaction during the long social media encounter, Khalifa responded: “I think everybody was but it’s cool, everything’s cool, we spoke it’s all good.”
To give you a quick recap, Kanye went off on Twitter after Wiz suggested Ye shouldn’t change his upcoming album name to Waves. During Kanye’s rant, the rapper not only called out Wiz’s ex-wife and baby mama, “stripper” Amber Rose, but also suggested that he owns the pair’s son, Sebastian.
Kanye later apologized for going too “far with the kid thing,” and to that, Wiz revealed to Martinez that he accepted the Chicago rapper’s apology.
Wiz also confirmed that Rose and Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian are also on good terms. “Her and Kim spoke and they’re all good, too,” Khalifa told Martinez. “They spoke and it’s all good.”
That’s when the “See You Again” rapper explained, “I’m like the Bob Marley of this.”
By the way, Kim is now officially following Amber, who once dated Kanye, on Instagram.
No Joke: Bill Cosby Is Back On Stage Doing Stand-Up
We are not trying to shame the elderly, but we are super confused why Bill Cosby is back on stage doing stand-up. He is after all 80-years old and going blind, but apparently that’s all apart of his routine.
Cosby did a set on Monday at LaRose Jazz Club in Philly and poked fun at his visual impairment amongst other personal anecdotes. He didn’t touch his pending trial, but many suspect his resurgence into the public eye is all a ploy to revitalize his image.
Just two weeks ago Cosby attended a dinner with friends and let reporters tag along to ask questions and take photos. This time around Cosby announced on his Facebook that he’d be doing a set a couple hours before. He wore a sweatshirt that said “hello friend” and also played the drums alongside the Tony Williams Jazz Quartet.
Folks in the audience are laughing … so maybe it’s working.
The disgraced comedian’s retrial on sexual assault charges is set to begin in April, and a new jury selection begins at the end of March. He averted a decision this past June when a jury couldn’t agree on a verdict … ending in a mistrial.
