Taylor Swift Says She Never Approved Kanye’s “Misogynistic Message”

By  |

A rep for Taylor Swift says that when it comes to peddling bullsh*t, Kanye West is a master of the craft. Ye’s new album The Life of Pablo is making headlines for a number of reasons this morning, one of those being a line about the blonde pop singer.

“For all my Southside n*ggas who know me best, I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex, I made that b*tch famous. God damn. I made that b*tch famous,” Ye raps on the track in a lyric that drew ire from many including Swift’s brother who posted a video of himself trashing his Yeezy sneakers.

Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.

Kanye just tweeted that he got Taylor’s blessing before putting out the song, but on Thursday night Taylor painted a very different story. “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message,” the singer rep explained in a statement. “Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b*tch famous.'”

Who do you believe? Kanye or Taylor?
