Jacksonville Jaguars player Dante Fowler is feeling “embarrassed” after he was caught on camera encouraging his girlfriend to trade blows with the mother of his child. TMZ Sports obtained shocking video of the incident recorded at a Florida apartment complex earlier this month.

“I am embarrassed and have apologized for my actions to everyone involved,” Fowler said in a statement. “As a family, we have been dealing with this moment and the conflict that led to it since this occurred. The video surfacing is a sad reminder that emotions got the best of all of us. I take 100 percent responsibility for everything that happened.”

The Jaguars also released this statement via Twitter following the release of the clip:

Some people are blasting the NFL player for allowing the women to fight, but others have come to his defense. One person writes on Instagram:

“He’s not a cop. His job isn’t to break up fights. No one has any idea if he instigated the fight or not. You can’t tell from the 20 second snippet TMZ posted. There’s no audio either, so we have no idea what led to the fight. For all we know, he could have tried to diffuse the situation and saw they weren’t gonna come down and said, ‘OK, have at it.’ Sometimes fights will happen no matter how hard you try to stop it. Nothing should nor will come of this.”

What do you all think? Is Fowler wrong for not stepping in or should he have done more to prevent the melee?

Clearly, it was “God’s Plan” for Drizzy to take his entire budget for his music video and spend it on various residents and workers in Florida’s hot spot city. That’s right almost a million bucks — $996,631.90 to be exact — was slotted for Drake to shoot the visuals for his latest hit but instead he used all the money to make a difference. And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
