Snoop Dogg recently experienced some medical ailments and according to the rapper, it all stemmed from simply working too hard.

Earlier this month, a source told HipHollywood exclusively the rapper had been hospitalized at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles for an unknown medical condition. And while it’s still unclear what exactly happened to the music mogul, Snoop did admit to us during Wednesday night’s All Def Movie Awards that he did have few setbacks.

“I’m just working myself a lot,” he said. “Any time you work yourself a whole lot sometimes you gotta step back and analyze your body.”

He added, “I’m not a machine, I’m not a robot, but at times I feel I am because I just go and I give the people what I want.”

Snoop is indeed a giver, which is why the rapper is currently putting things in motion for an upcoming tour with Dr. Dre. “We’re trying to get it together. Dre said he want it to be myself, him, Kendrick, Eminem,” he said during an interview with DJ Whoo Kid’s The Whoolywood Shuffle. “It’s a wishlist that can possibly become a reality if all parties agree. I’d love to make it happen. I love everybody involved and I ain’t trying to get all the money. I just want what I’m worth and I’m gonna’ do what I do.”

We are glad the rapper is re-energized and doing well.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
