Zendaya is riding on a very, very high cloud nine right now after not only becoming the new face of CoverGirl, but also dropping a track with Grammy Award winner, Chris Brown.

The 19-year-old may be young, but the beauty knows her 90’s music, which is why the singer chose to sample TLC’s Creep on her song featuring Breezy, “Something New.”

“I’m really excited,” she told HipHollywood exclusively on Thursday night while at the Essence Black Women in Music event. “I worked for almost three years on my project [upcoming EP] and just kind of working in the studio becoming a young woman and just developing who I am. I felt like that [Something New] was the perfect song to kind of lead it off and start the groove.”

As for how the duo joined forces, Zendaya tells us that she approached the singer and it was that very track that Brown instantly vibed with. According to the Disney star, she went into the studio with her parents and asked Breezy to listen to her music and “he picked that song out as his favorite.”

Congrats to Zendaya.

It was Mrs. Hart’s first red carpet since giving birth to the couple’s first child, Kenzo Kash, just three weeks ago. To say it was a snapback is an understatement. The 30-year-old, who worked out during her entire pregnancy, look sexy and svelt in a elegant black number while her superstar hubby hit the carpet in a black suit with white trim.

Although the couple faced some bumps in the road earlier this year with Kev being extorted over a video showing him cheating on his wife, the couple has bounced back. And on Tuesday night’s jungle-themed red carpet Hart told HipHollywood, “My wife is just an amazing woman … I would not be me right now without that woman in my life.”

You can see Kev, alongside Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jack Black and more, when “Jumani: Welcome To The Jungle” hits theaters on December 20th.
