Former Redskins defensive player Dexter Manley is in hot water for making a racially insensitive remark about Black quarterbacks in the NFL. Manley, who is a commentator on WUSA9’s Game On, was speaking about QB mobility when he made this shocking statement on live television, “most of the Black quarterbacks, they like running, because they’re probably used to running from the law.”
Manley issued an on-air apology after making the remarks, admitting, “I say some things I don’t think about sometimes.” That apology was too little too late for Black Twitter who lit Manley up for his brand of ignorance.
Hes already the frontrunner for Uncle Tom of the year and were not even halfway through January yet. That's pretty impressive! #DEXTERMANLEY

Dexter Manley is that guy who says racists things and degrades his own race just to fit in with white folks.

Just saw the video clip. Thank you Dexter Manley for setting us all back with your ignorant comments about your own people. #Idiot

Rapper Bun B also got in on the admonishing, saying if Manley was White, the Black community would be up and arms over the comments.
Do you all think Manley’s apology is enough, or should he be fired?
