Michael Bay’s latest flick, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi may be action packed but its no Transformers.

The film, based on the book of the same name, chronicles the 2012 attack on two U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya, that led to the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

HipHollywood sat down with Michael Bay, John Krasinski and the real life soldiers who inspired the film to talk about turning true events into movie magic.
