Erykah Badu is blessing fans with a trill cover of Kanye West’s “Real Friends.” It’s been a busy couple of months for the soulful singer who also remixed Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and the But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape.

Badu shared her take on Kanye’s latest release through her SoundCloud, saying she was supposed to be “recording something else” when the inspiration came to create “Trill Friends.” The singer also revealed that she’s in the studio working on another mixtape, THIS $HIT TOO EASY.

You can listen to “Trill Friends” below. As for Ye, his next album, Swish, is scheduled to drop on February 11th.

It’s no secret that Drake’s been on a giving spree while in Miami. From college kids to hotel workers and everyone in between, the rapper has been changing lives one dollar at a time — and now we can see it all in action.

Clearly, it was “God’s Plan” for Drizzy to take his entire budget for his music video and spend it on various residents and workers in Florida’s hot spot city. That’s right almost a million bucks — $996,631.90 to be exact — was slotted for Drake to shoot the visuals for his latest hit but instead he used all the money to make a difference. And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
