Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Janet Hubert has some words for “Miss Thang” Jada Pinkett Smith who recently revealed she was boycotting this year’s Academy Awards because of the lack of diversity.

A sassy Aunt Viv released a lengthy video on YouTube complaining that there are other things to complain about, like people “dying.” The actress, by the way, opened up her more than opinionated four-minute video by calling out Pinkett for speaking on behalf of her hubby, Will Smith, who was overlooked for his role in Concussion.

“First of all, Miss Thing, does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak?”

She continued, “The second thing, girlfriend, there’s a lot of sh*t going on in the world that you all don’t seem to recognize. People are dying. Our boys are being shot left and right. People are starving. People are trying to pay bills. And you’re talking about some [expletive] actors and Oscars. It just ain’t that deep.”

“And here’s the other thing, for you to ask other actors, and other black actresses and actors, too, to jeopardize their career and their standing in a town that you know damn well you don’t do that. And here’s the other thing—they don’t care. They don’t care! And I find it ironic that somebody who has made their living, made their living and made millions and millions of dollars from the very people you’re talking about boycotting just because you didn’t get a nomination, just because you didn’t win.”

She concluded, “Well karma must be a b*tch, cause now here you are. Here you are, you’ve had a few flops and you know there are those out there who really deserved a nod.”

It’s unclear why Hubert was so bitter, however, there have been several rumors in the past that Will and Janet had some beef towards each other that stemmed from their days on The Fresh Prince.

It all started with an ill-worded tweet … and ended with an apology and a shocking revelation!

After gymnast Gabby Douglas’ Final Five teammate Aly Raisman posted a message about supporting sexual assault victims, Douglas responded with a message of her own.

Almost immediately, Douglas felt the swift blow-back her insensitive tweet brought about. Even Simon Biles, another Final Five member, had to check Gabby.

Facing harsh criticism and heated social media comments, Douglas apologized. But, in her apology the Olympian revealed that she, too had been a victim of Dr. Larry Nassar, the Team USA doctor that was accused of sexually assaulting Raisman, McKayla Maroney and others. Gabby’s public plea was posted on Instagram with the caption, “please hear my heart.”

The jury’s still out on whether the masses will forgive Gabby, but at least Nassar will get his due punishment. He pleaded guilty to several counts of sexually assault today and faces 25 to 40 years in prison.
