Kevin Hart isn’t just saving lives in his new movie Ride Along 2, but apparently, he is also saving lives in Beverly Hills ballrooms.

During the 2016 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Hart saved the life of first time Golden Globe winner Lady Gaga who according to Hart, almost took a tumble after receiving the coveted award for Best Actress in a Limited TV Series or TV Motion Picture. “What people don’t know is after she got the award she was walking off [and] she fell. I had to catch her,” Hart said during an appearance on The Ellen Show.

He continued, “And when I caught her I said, ‘I just want you to realize how big my arms are…It could have been bad. It could have been really bad for you, but I saved your life.'”

As for how far she fell, Kevin explained, “I didn’t let her go down that far because I’m a hero.”

He added, “The thing is like she was on her way down. It could have been brutal, you know? We’re talking blood, broken bones. But the inner hero in me grabbed her and my instincts kicked in. and I immediately cleared the camera. ‘Move!’ And then I had her and she was gasping for air. It was a moment.”

Hart also revealed to Ellen that he and fiancée Eniko Parrish have finally set a date for their wedding. “You know, black men tend to draw these things out, but I cut it short where I could,” the actor said. “We’re getting married August 8. It’s over, man. August 8.”

The 36-year-old added, “That’s right, ladies. Putting the chocolate in the fridge. I’m putting these chocolate nuggets up in the freezer ladies. It’s over. It’s over!”

HipHollywood was also the first to report that Hart’s best man will be his son, Hendrix.

Ride Along 2 hits theaters January 15.

To say Wonder is a must see movie is an understatement! Not only will the film touch you and inspire you to be a better person, it will also entertain you from start to finish.

But don’t take our word for it. HipHollywood sat down with the film’s stars Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson who shared their excitement to bring this heartwarming story to life and how they channeled their real-life parenting skills into the role.

“I think we felt a responsibility to be authentically parents and authentically parents to these two kids, said the 50 year old mother of three. “And I think that’s why you really believe these four people are family and are really having this experience together.”

In the film based on the NY times best seller, Roberts and Wilson play the parents of a teenage daughter (Izabela Vidovic) and 10-year-old boy (Jacob Tremblay) with facial differences entering mainstream elementary school for the first time.

When asked if they had any advice for their ten year old selves, Roberts said: “I have a ten year old son and I tell him to run.”

Meanwhile Wilson says he remembers 5th grade vividly, and enjoyed having his brother Andrew Wilson at the same school to protect him. “It helped so much having an older brother who was already at the school, so that would be the advice I’d give, have a cool older brother.”

Wonder hits theaters November 17, just one day before Wilson’s 49th birthday.
