R. Kelly stopped by HuffPost Live on Monday to promote his new album, The Buffet, but things went from great to disastrous after host, Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani, started asking about the singer’s past sexual abuse allegations.

Nearly 8 minutes into the interview, Modarressy-Tehrani launched right into this question: “When you think about R. Kelly I think people find it very difficult to not think about the multiple lawsuits, the multiple allegations of you having inappropriate relations, sex relations with minors. What do you say to those people who find it conflicting.”

To that, the Grammy Award wining singer responded: “Since you are the one who brought it up I’ll just say it to you because I don’t hear it from anyone else … As far as from me to you, I would say f*ck that. I’m a man that believes what I sees. Everywhere I’ve been I get nothing but love.”

At that point, Caroline attempted to make a point and that’s when things spiraled out of control. “I didn’t come here for negative, I came here for positive,” the artist explained.

A source tells HipHollywood exclusively that the singer “felt like he was ambushed” by the news outlet and that he was very “upset.”

See the interview below and for when things go haywire, go straight to 8 minutes.

why the fuck would you ask those kind of questions for an album release? Oh I guess it’s the new journalism – nobody reads it if you don’t “go there” anymore. Fair enough. Not really. Lame.

Amen! You said it perfectly, Richard. It’s completely senseless and out of the bounds of normal, respectable journalism.

I think that he should have been warned upfront that he would be asked questions about his past lawsuits, mishaps, and unpleasant experiences.

He would have had the opportunity to accept or refuse the interview.

Typical question from an Anglo-Persian (British-Iranian) feminist news junkie who has the opportunity to speak to an infamous R&B legend and instead of taking it for what it was worth, she turns into every other ragtag journalist noob and destroys any sort of future relationship or presence among such stars. Honestly, with a name like that, she should be happy she even has a job. Iran is nobody’s favorite place, today, nor ever. I’ll never forget in North Jersey while 21, expressing interest in the U.S. military and this older, Iranian man possibly in his 60s-70s at the time, discouraged me right off the bat–unexpectedly–making a horrible, ignorant, distasteful and crude type of comment about when American soldiers die, their families only receive $25,000. He was purposefully speaking down on the country, the military, disrespecting volunteer soldiers–and this piece of scum hung around the Italian neighborhood and drank at the bars, played cards with the Mob guys. What a piece of trash. That entire place deserves punishment, by God’s Almighty wrath. This journalist considers herself a ‘lapsed Catholic’, and supposedly this gives her the right to speak ridiculously about classic figures and stars, anything really, even the Catholic church, Christianity, etc. President Obama has given Iran so much, as if the President of Iran matters, when it is so evident the Supreme Ayatollah is the Leader over all, for it is religion that rules the Middle East – the Muslim religion, Islam. They shout and scream out “Death to America!”, “Death to the Jews!”, etc. etc. And we give them money and a chance to build a nuclear bomb sometime in the future, while the Ayatollah states how he will take that money and use it against us, to kill us. I don’t trust any man or woman from Iran, Syria, any of those Middle Eastern “radicalized Muslim” states and countries that promotes and supports and breeds ISIS, al-Nusra Front, The Khomeni(sp?) Group, Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. I don’t understand how a President could force us Americans to accept these Muslim refugees after all that we’ve been through? Unbelievable. And now the American jobless are going to have even a harder time finding work, while people like this journalist, this Iranian Feminist who works at Huffington Post of all places, can sit there and speak down against legends like R. Kelly who’s simply trying to promote a brand new album!!

Apologies for any offense taken, but I speak how I feel, the truth, the problems that we have in this country, and this world, and under this Presidency, and with people in the Media like this journalist. Seriously. It’s everywhere. It’s sad. Gaydom and MuslimDom have conquered this 21st Century. And they’re forcing us or trying to have us BELIEVE and ACCEPT that Jesus, Moses, Abraham, and Mohammad are all the SAME? Are the same GOD? Are the same FAITH? Jesus is NOT the same Jesus of the Qur’an.

Hot Or Bothered: Fashion At The 2017 American Music Awards

The night music fans have been waiting for is finally here! The 45th American Music Awards went down right Sunday night at Microsoft Theater in L.A. and a host of your favorite stars hit the red carpet in some looks that were hot and some that had us bothered … let’s start with the hot!

The evening’s host Tracee Ellis Ross sparkled and shined in this burgundy sequined Stella McCartney gown. We’re  sure her mother Diana Ross inspired this look.

Meanwhile her  sister-in-law Ashlee Simpson Ross dazzled in a sparkly number by Christian Siriano.

And of, the evening’s Lifetime Achievement Award winner and honoree – Diana Ross proved why she’s a music and fashion icon in this black gown and hat.

Selena Gomez showed off her killer bod wearing a Coach leather minidress and brand new platinum hair.

Also killing it in an LBD – that’s leather black dress, was Ciara wearing Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture. Ok Ciara!

Demi Lovato looked like a goddess in this black sheer strapless gown by Ester Abner.

And, Kelly Rowland gave us grecian vibes in this velvet gown with embellished bodice.

But the look that stole the show  DJ Khaled’s son Asahd, looking super adorable in his tiny black suit and Gucci loafers that cost a whopping $275. That’s what we call winning at 1 year old.

But someone whose look was not winning … Nick Cannon. We’re not sure why he was dressed like a Bratz doll, but he needs to stop.

Sadly we also have to request that whoever dressed Pink in this awful tulle Monique Lhuillier dress be fired immediately. Sorry we love you Pink but this dress was a hot damn mess.
