Mannnn, it was all good just a week year ago. Now, Safaree Samuels is looking for a bit of revenge against his ex, Nicki Minaj and is hitting her where it hurts … her pockets!

According to TMZ, Samuels has lawyered up and is planning to sue Ms. Minaj for a chunk of the profits from three of her albums — The Pinkprint, Pink Friday and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Safaree claims to have a bunch of proof that he is partly responsible for Minaj’s musical success. The budding rapper also thinks the fact that Nicki named him as an executive producer on her first two albums is further confirmation of his efforts.

It’ll be interesting to see how this one pans out. It sounds like Safaree may have a pretty good case.

Meanwhile, the “Anaconda” rapper is the poster child for unbothered as she and her boo, Meek Mill hit up the VH1 Big in 2015 Awards Sunday night.

And that he did!
