Say what you want about August Alsina, but the gritty singer always keeps it real. Unfortunately, not everyone is a fan of his raw honesty, especially his mother.

August stopped by Power 105 to chat with The Breakfast Club and opened up about a myriad of topics … namely, how he contemplated suicide and his strained relationship with many members of his family, including his mom. The “Song Cry” singer revealed that he goes months without speaking to his mom and also told a story about how she kicked him out in the rain and flipped him the bird! He even explained why he choose to express his hardships in the single “Song Cry” and stated that it has nothing to do with seeking attention. The full interview is about 45 minutes long, but you can hear him talk about his relationship with his mother around the 34 minute-mark.

Apparently, his mom got wind of the interview and went off on Instagram.

So, who do you believe? Is August pushing his mom away or is did she ruin their relationship years ago? Sound off?

    Women= plural (more than 1)
    Woman= singular (just 1)
    People kill me with this mistake. Mothers of celebs should stay off the net.

    Whether his mother is right or wrong, August should keep private matters private, at least from his end. He should stop gossiping as well as giving light to suicide and worry about making good music and videos, getting endorsements, and putting on good shows.

The Real Reason Jason Derulo Is Out Here Teaching Zumba Class

Jason Derulo popped up at an L.A. Zumba class Tuesday night but he wasn’t there to take the class … he was there to teach it.

According to Forbes, Derulo has partnered with Zumba, who will be offering exclusive classes featuring choreography to his hit song “Tip-Toe” featuring French Montana.

To kick things off the 28-year-old showed up unannounced at Beat Box Studio LA to teach a few routines, and as you could imagine everyone was mad hype.

Perez Hilton and Youtube Fitness star Caleb Mitchell were amongst the 80 folks taking the class, which also included instructors and members of the University of Southern California dance team.

“What I love most about Zumba is that they make exercising fun and make it accessible to everyone all over the world. It’s a movement,” Derulo said. “They get great global rhythms and pair it with a routine everyone can do that will give you a total body workout that feels more like party than exercise. I admire that because you don’t typically associate dancing with working out and that’s the beauty of it.”

No word on if Derulo will be popping up at more classes, but if he does now you won’t be surprised.
