Did vocal powerhouse Adele turn down an opportunity to record a song with the one and only, Beyoncé? That’s what was widely reported last week using sources other than Beyonce or Adele. According to someone “close to the situation,” King Bey was thirsty for the collab, but the British songstress wanted no part of it.

“Bey has been asking Adele for a year to join forces,” a source said according to the International Business Times. “She went into the studio with Adele at the end of last year and tried to convince her to collaborate on a track. Adele turned down the offer, so now Bey is putting the song on her new album instead, which everyone is saying will drop before the end of the year.”

Earlier this week, a more credible source was asked about the report and offered up this rebuttal. “There’s a rumor going round that I turned Beyoncé down. Which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I’d never disrespect her like that,” Adele shared in an interview with Zane Lowe.

“Obviously, like, Queen B ’til the day I die,” the 25 singer added. So that being said, what up with that collab tho, ladies?

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
