You may find this hard to believe, but Drake has never had a number one single. The Canadian rapper is hoping to change that this month with “Hotline Bling.” The song has been creeping up the charts for sometime now and is very close to hitting #1.

Drake posted a message on his social media telling fans how proud he would be to achieve the accomplishment:

“I spend my life trying to make waves for the city I am from. No accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a Billboard number one. If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool. I love you and thank you for these memories. I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you … even if it doesn’t.”

It’s kind of hard to believe that with all the hits Drizzy has blessed us with over the years, he’s never had a top single. Oddly enough, the person with the number one record right now is Drake’s protege, The Weeknd. The singer’s “The Hills,” is #1 while Drake’s “Hotline Bling” occupies the spot under it.

Jennifer Hudson Is In Fear For Her Life, Gets Order Of Protection Against Ex-Fiancé David Otunga

Jennifer Hudson has been granted a protective order against her former fiancé, David Otunga.

Apparently, after 10 years together, Jennifer and David broke-up for several months ago. However, things turned extremely sour while the pair were trying to work out a custody situation for their 8-year-old son, David Jr. According to the protection order, Jennifer claims the former wrestler exhibited “aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior toward me.” She also says, “I am now living in fear of further action David might take.”

After receiving the order of protection on Thursday, cops showed up to Hudson’s home, that she shared with David, and escorted him out.

Otunga’s attorney vehemently denies any wrongdoing on David’s behalf and claims that Jennifer is using this protection order as a ploy to get the courts to give her primary physical custody of David Jr.
