Celebrities came out in droves on Tuesday night to attend Jay Z’s Tidal X 10/20 concert in New York in celebration of Tidal’s one millionth subscriber.
The event, which was held at Brooklyn’s Barclays center, was full of stellar performances including Beyonce, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj and Usher, which streamed live on Tidal for their millions of fans.
And while we are all more than accepting of a free concert, it is worth noting that 100 percent of the ticket proceeds goes to “organizations dedicated to advancing positive community relations and effecting systemic change for the development and sustainability of just societies,” according to Tidal’s website.
Beyonce and Nicki were the highlight of the evening as they hit the stage for their hit track, “Feeling Myself,” which ended in an epic dance break battle.

Later in the evening, Meek Mil, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross and French Montana hit the stage for a grouped performance. And Usher, who is probably still riding his happy birthday wish by President Obama and the First Lady high, performed his new song with Nas, Bibi Bourelly and Jay Z titled, “Chains.”
And aside from entertaining on stage cameos, folks encountered some serious contact high, which according to Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier, was not easy to dodge.

The Good, Bad And Ug… Less Flattering At The NAACP Image Awards
This year, the NAACP Image Awards were held on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. As we all know, Dr. King had a dream, and for many on the red carpet it was a dream come true. But unfortunately, there were some nightmares … fashion nightmares.
Here’s our list of then stars who were hot and those who left us bothered. First, let’s start with the hot…
And it doesn’t get hotter than Halle Berry showing half her body. Ms. Berry slayed in this Reem Acra gown reminding then youngin’s that she’s still got it.
And speaking of youngin’s A Wrinkle In Time star Storm Reid may be relatively new to the game, but she showed up on the carpet looking like a vet in this adorable Yanina number.
Yara Shahidi also showed up serving #BlackGirlMagic in this beautiful Vera Wang dress.
And Kerry Washington killed it, also wearing black, in this Michael Kors stunner.
But as we know, with the good comes the bad, and the bad this time around came courtesy…
Danielle Brooks, we love our Orange Is The New Black boo, but this Michael Costello look just didn’t work for her.
We also love Ava DuVernay, but unfortunately this Greta Constatine jumpsuit didn’t have us jumping for joy.
Lil Mama left us wanting more in this navy blue feathery frock … actually it may be her hair that left us disappointed.
And adding to our disappointment was Letoya Luckett wearing a purple gown that had scallops and bows and slits … oh my!
Do you agree with our hots and nots?
