After over four years of anxiously anticipating the return of Adele, the British pop star is back.
On Thursday night, the London native dropped the visuals to her new track “Hello” starring actor and rapper, Tristan Wilds. In the video, Wilds plays the love interest of the pop star who is making an effort to say I’m sorry.
“Hello from the outside / At least I can say that I’ve tried to tell you / I’m sorry, for breaking your heart,” she sings in the chorus. “But it don’t matter / It clearly doesn’t tear you apart anymore.”
Adele’s long awaited ballad is on her forthcoming third studio album, 25, a project we’ve all been anticipating since her 2011 album, 21.
Earlier this week, the pop star revealed that the LP’s title, which is her current age, is about “getting to know who I’ve become without realizing it.” It was a big week for the singer who also shared her cover art for the album which is out on November 20th.
