If you tuned in for last weekend’s MTV VMAs, you were probably shocked to see Justin Bieber break down in tears following his performance. But now, we are learning just what was running through the pop star’s mind when he completely let go.
Bieber stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday and opened up about getting emotional on stage. Ironically, the singer almost had waterworks while talking about his waterworks. “It was just so overwhelming for me, everything, the performance. I missed some cues, so I was a little disappointed with that. And just the support. I just wasn’t expecting them to support me in the way they did,” Bieber said.
He continued, “Last time I was at an awards show, I was booed.”
The 21-year-old went on to express how he just wants do well in the business and not be judged. “I’ve worked so hard at this album, I’ve worked so hard at just becoming the man I want to become and stepping into situations you just can’t help but feel judged. So I was just feeling judged, wanting to win so badly, wanting to do what I love so badly, I just put everything on the line. And I think that what was so special about the emotional moment at the end. It was authentic, it was real. I was really just wanting it so bad.”
Honestly, it’s nice to see this side of Justin.

SAG Awards Fashion Hits & Misses: Tracee Ellis Ross, Halle Berry, Lupita Nyong’o & More
The 2018 SAG Awards were full of fashion hits and misses. Here are some of the best and worst looks of the night.
Tracee Ellis Ross always knocks it out of the park and tonight, the black-ish star definitely hit a home run in a gorgeous white Ralph and Russo gown. Her co-star, Yara Shahidi, also stole the spotlight in a classic black pantsuit.
No surprise here, Halle Berry killed it in a sheer Pamela Roland dress, meanwhile, Lupita Nyong’o stunned in a strapless Ralph and Russo ensemble. Niecy Nash, who was also one of the night’s presenters, brightened the room with not only her smile, but her sexy green Zina Zaki dress.
SAG nominee, Mary J. Blige, glowed in a magical black and white Jean-Louis Sabaji masterpiece and we can’t forget about Sterling K. Brown’s wife, Ryan Michelle, who looked like a princess in a soft pink dress.
Black-ish star, Marsai Martin, was all grownish in this adorable wine MIRI couture gown.
As for who completely missed the mark, Maya Rudolph who who wore this head to toe floral ensemble; sorry girl.
