Next season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars is definitely going to be one for the books.

DWTS host, Tom Begeron, revealed the contestants on Good Morning America on Wednesday morning and the celebrities attached to the upcoming season are full of personality, pizazz and fire. Joining Bergeron on GMA, Tamar Braxton, Paula Deen and Kim Zolciak -Beirmann, three of the 13 competitors who will fight for the Mirror Ball Trophy.

Braxton, who stars alongside her four sisters on the family’s reality show, Braxton Family Values, explained that she didn’t tell her family prior to Wednesday’s announcement. “This is the reveal. I haven’t told them yet,” Braxton said. “Hi, girls.”

And in true Braxton fashion,the sisters took to social media to congratulate the youngest Braxton.

Deen, who came under fire last year for admitting to using racial slurs, explained that “this is the first time in a few years that I’ve felt like my weight would allow me to participate.”

The celebrity chef added “What I hope I’m going to get out of this is a bunch of new friends and maybe lose some weight and a little better body.”

The other competitors include Gary Busey, Nick Carter, Victor Espinoza, Andy Grammar, Hayes Grier, Bindi Irwin, Chaka Khan, Alexa Penavega, Carlos Penavega and Alek Skarlatos.

Dancing with the Stars returns Monday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.


Girl Power Prevails At The 2017 American Music Awards



Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
