Chris Brown’s baby’s mother, Nia Guzman is slamming allegations that she has taken part in criminal activity with her ex-boyfriend, King Ba.
Last week, reports broke that Ba, who also considers himself a father to Breezy’s daughter, had a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly forging U.S. Treasury checks totaling over $5,000 and depositing them into bank accounts.
And now, according to TMZ, Breezy plans on using this in court as he fight’s for custody over he and Nia’s 1-year-old daughter, Royalty. Per the news outlet, Chris thinks Nia’s argument to have supervised visits with Royalty and Brown for safety reasons will backfire … after all, Ba is a apparently a wanted man.
But the model’s rep tells HipHollywood that “Nia has not been in a dating relationship with Ba for several months” and that despite other rumors, she “has no criminal record and has never took park in any criminal activity with Ba.”
Guzman’s rep also addressed reports that Nia is money hungry and is using her daughter as meal ticket, something that Brown suggested during a Twitter rant last month. According to reports, Guzman is requesting a whopping $15,000 a month in child support instead of the $2,500 she is receiving now.
“Nia is not trying to obtain any fame or additional money from Chris Brown other than the child support that is expected for the raising of their child and she asks that the press and general pubic would stop hurling false accusations at her and her daughter,” the statement read.
Guzman and Breezy are currently in a custody battle over their bundle of joy. Nia is asking for full custody and Chris is asking for joint.
