HipHollywood can confirm hat Momma Dee was taken into custody over the weekend for allegedly dining and ditching in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Police Department tells us that they responded to the downtown restaurant, Elsa’s on the Park, at about 1:10 a.m. on Saturday for a “Fraud on Innkeeper” complaint.  We are told that an employee told officers a woman at the bar would not pay her bill, which was reportedly a whopping $500.

But according to Deborah Bryant, the star’s legal name, it was all a misunderstanding. The reality star turned singer tells TMZ that she was using the restroom when the check came and everyone in her party left the restaurant. Dee tells the news outlet that although it was her birthday dinner, she was an invited guest … not the other way around. But apparently, nobody wanted to pay.

When Momma Dee came out of the bathroom, restaurant managers and cops accusing her of trying to skip out on paying the bill approached her.

MPD tells us that the case was reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office on Sunday and criminal charges were not issued.

Bryant has not responded to the reports via social media. Her son, Lil Scrappy, has also remained mum.

Jennifer Hudson has been granted a protective order against her former fiancé, David Otunga.

Apparently, after 10 years together, Jennifer and David broke-up for several months ago. However, things turned extremely sour while the pair were trying to work out a custody situation for their 8-year-old son, David Jr. According to the protection order, Jennifer claims the former wrestler exhibited “aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior toward me.” She also says, “I am now living in fear of further action David might take.”

After receiving the order of protection on Thursday, cops showed up to Hudson’s home, that she shared with David, and escorted him out.

Otunga’s attorney vehemently denies any wrongdoing on David’s behalf and claims that Jennifer is using this protection order as a ploy to get the courts to give her primary physical custody of David Jr.
