Just two months after announcing that she was leaving her hubby, Jeffrey Rolle, singer Kelly Price pulled the trigger and officially filed for divorce.
Based on the documents, it seems like the split will be relatively clean. According to reports, the papers request no spousal support and that there is no community property to fight over. The singer also does not want a custody battle over their two adult children.
Price confirmed the news back in July in a statement that read:
“After the untimely death of my sister last year, it weighed on me heavily that this was something we needed to do. I ultimately made the decision to live the best life I can. I ended things because I didn’t want to compromise what true happiness was anymore. There are no hard feelings and I will love Jeff until the day I die!”
Price and Rolle, who have been together since the Grammy Award winner was 19 years old, have a 23-year-old son, Jeffrey Rolle Jr., and 21-year-old daughter, Jonia Rolle.
Jeffrey has served as Kelly’s manager for years and according to reports, they will be cutting business ties as well.
