Selena Gomez is confident she is going to be a good mom and we totally agree.

HipHollywood caught up with Gomez in Miami to talk about the sequel to her animated film, Hotel Transylvania, as well as motherhood.

Picking up where the last flick left off, Gomez and her husband, voiced by Andy Samberg, have a child together. But simply playing the role of a cool, modern day mom has Selena already thinking about being a mom.

The beauty admitted that she is well aware of the mothers who stick to schedules and feed their children organic, healthy foods. “I’m from Texas. Those moms can be very, very, very put together, with the scheduling you can’t miss a beat. And they’ll go get their hair done and their nails done at the same time.”

She continued, “That happens to you when you turn into a mom, that happened to me just voicing a [sic] mom. I love kids. They are just such a honest, pure, human beings.”

And speaking of parenthood, Gomez, whose new album Revival drops next month, reveals why this film isn’t just for the kiddos. “You can’t really get Adam Sandler and Andy in a room and not have have those punchlines for the adults,” she said.

Hotel Transylvania 2 hits theaters on September 25. Be sure to check back in to HipHollywood for more on our sit down with Selena. The beauty opens up about her upcoming album and why she is starting to feel more in control of her life.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
