Chelsea Clinton isn’t exactly against Kanye West running for president, especially if it inspires young politicians to be.

During a recent interview with MTV News, the former first daughter was candid about West’s recent announcement that he will be running for the Oval Office in 2020. “I definitely think who runs for office is really important,” Chelsea, whose mother Hillary is currently fighting to become a Democratic Nominee, said. “Even if him just saying that helps spark a little boy or a little girl who was watching the VMAs to think, ‘Oh, wow! Maybe I should do that,’ that’s awesome.”

And Clinton isn’t the only big name on board with West running. Hopeful Republican Nominee, Donald Trump, admitted during a press conference last week that he loves Yeezy. “Maybe in a few years, I’ll have to run against him. I don’t know. I’ll take that back. I would never say bad things about him because he says such nice things about me.”

During the 2015 MTV VMAs, Yeezy revealed during his lengthy Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award acceptance speech that he will be running for president. “And yes, as you probably could’ve guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president,” the rapper said.

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
