While DMX sits behind bars, his son Xavier is making money off of his pop’s fortune.

In efforts to make a little side money, Xavier sold his father’s “RIAA” Platinum Certified Commemoration Plaque which consists of “And Then There Was X” and “Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood” on eBay. TMZ first broke the story, the seed of X’s loins was trying to make a little buck to put towards his music career.

Per the news website, X left behind several personal items when he was kicked tout of his son’s mother’s house … and that’s how Xavier got his hands on the swag.

According to the page on the e-commerce website, the plaque was originally priced at a whopping $3000. It’s unclear how much the memorabilia actually went for but our guess is that Xavier can get a little musical jumpstart.

X’s former rep tells us exclusively that it is a “sad story.”  By the way, Earl Simmons, the rapper’s legal name, was sentenced to six months in prison back in July for failure to pay child support.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
