Basketball Wives: L.A. star Draya Michele shared some not so surprising news on “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” Friday morning. The reality star and her NFL baller boo Orlando Scandrick are back together, for the 1000th time, after their most recent break-up that played out over social media. If you recall Orlando pulled the plug on their engagement, saying his proposal was a huge mistake, and he even filed a restraining order against her to remove her from his home.
Draya told Big Boy that the couple have worked out their differences, and that she still has her engagement ring. “I got my ring. It was a very expensive ring. We’re in a good place. It was an off thing so we’re trying to get back on and we’re just playing it day by day,” she explained.
But while that may not sound surprising, the Mint Swim creator did say some things that had us raising an eyebrow. When asked if she and the Dallas Cowboys Cornerback are in fact getting married she said, “I mean yeah, because to be honest, if there’s not a wedding then there could possibly be a funeral.”
Yikes. And if you’re wondering about that restraining order, she told Big Boy: “I never got a restraining order. I was never served a restraining order. I know something was filed, but I guess in order to make it official you gotta hold on to it, you gotta show up in court, you gotta serve it legally and I never got served. So, I don’t know what that was about. Seems like mixed emotions to me.”
And if that’s not enough, the reality star also confessed that she goes a bit nutty when the two get into arguments, enough confirming reports that she tried to throw bleach in his eyes. “I didn’t really want to put bleach in his eyes,” she laughed. “I was in my house. It’s okay to lock the doors, put the blinds down and tear it up, in my opinion. We don’t have domestic violence, it’s just I’m a little destructive sometimes during an argument. I’m not destructive to him.”
Ok, whatever you say girl! Check out more of Draya’s interview below where she talks about throwing Orlando’s Yeezy sneakers in the pool, and if she is REALLY leaving Basketball Wives: LA.
Watch: Julia Roberts And Owen Wilson Give Advice To Their 10-Year-Old Selves
To say Wonder is a must see movie is an understatement! Not only will the film touch you and inspire you to be a better person, it will also entertain you from start to finish.
But don’t take our word for it. HipHollywood sat down with the film’s stars Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson who shared their excitement to bring this heartwarming story to life and how they channeled their real-life parenting skills into the role.
“I think we felt a responsibility to be authentically parents and authentically parents to these two kids, said the 50 year old mother of three. “And I think that’s why you really believe these four people are family and are really having this experience together.”
In the film based on the NY times best seller, Roberts and Wilson play the parents of a teenage daughter (Izabela Vidovic) and 10-year-old boy (Jacob Tremblay) with facial differences entering mainstream elementary school for the first time.
When asked if they had any advice for their ten year old selves, Roberts said: “I have a ten year old son and I tell him to run.”
Meanwhile Wilson says he remembers 5th grade vividly, and enjoyed having his brother Andrew Wilson at the same school to protect him. “It helped so much having an older brother who was already at the school, so that would be the advice I’d give, have a cool older brother.”
Wonder hits theaters November 17, just one day before Wilson’s 49th birthday.
