You would think Matt Barnes would have learned a lesson from JR Smith, but evidently the Memphis Grizzlies star appreciates learning life lessons the hard way. This particular lesson involves not bragging to paparazzi about dating Rihanna, especially when she’s never even met you.

Matt Barnes is now a punchline after he told TMZ cameras this past weekend that he was more than friends with the Barbadian beauty. “Rihanna is my friend right now, so we’ll see where it goes. It just passed the crush stage a little bit,” he explained, confirming what he said were “rumors” about the two.

What’s surprising about the revelation is NO ONE in the world was even aware of the rumor besides Barnes. Rihanna, who is quick to dead false gossip, took to Instagram to issue this captioned response to Barnes:

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has put an NBA player on blast. A few years ago, she made an example out of then New York Knicks star JR Smith who some believed she was dating.

“F*ck you and your wack team!! Nobody don’t want that desert thirsty n*gga. He f*cking up cause his a** be hungover from clubbing every night during the playoffs!! So your issue ain’t me,”

she fired off in an Instagram comment.

As for who Rihanna IS actually dating, some are speculating she’s locked onto Lewis Hamilton. The two were spotted together clubbing together in NY earlier this month and partying in Barbados.

From Gangsta To Gospel … Snoop Dogg Shuts Down Critics Of His Spiritual Album

Who says a gangsta rapper can’t drop a gospel album — apparently, the critics.

Snoop Dogg released his spiritual effort, Bible Of Love, today and unfortunately some folks just don’t understand why. Thankfully, we talked to Uncle Snoop and he let the haters know they won’t be dulling his shine.

“My spirit is in the right place,” Snoop proclaimed, “so for those who have backlash or something to say, their spirit ain’t right.” But Unc didn’t stop there, he went on a preached a word right quick … “I thought the Bible said Jesus was in the streets mixing it up with the real, bringing the real back to the fold.” Yep, yep, that’s exactly right!

But just because he has a gospel album doesn’t mean Snoop ain’t still street. “I come from the hood and I come from the church so they can’t out do me,” he reminded us.

Do you agree with The Doggfather’s message?

Bible Of Love is available now!
